Catalogue description, exactly as agents read it:

Official Swiss company registry lookup (Zefix). Query: /v1/eu/entreprise/CH/CHE-107.480.920 (UID, dots optional). Returns legal name, legal form, normalized status, registered office, cantonal register link, live from Zefix. 404, not billed: a Swiss sole proprietorship (Einzelunternehmen), a branch whose head office is not served, an undecided form. Same unified schema as every Sirenic European profile.

Expected identifier

CHE identifier, as CHE-123.456.789 or in continuous digits.

A wrongly formatted identifier in the path returns 400 and is not billed — but it costs you a round trip. It is the leading cause of failed calls on the foreign routes. A search parameter, by contrast, is cleaned up: unsupported characters are stripped and the usable query is served.

Price and billing

Price: $0.01. The authoritative amount is the one in the 402 quote returned by the route itself, not this text, which derives from the same grid but is still just a page.

An error response cancels the payment: a 400, 404 or 503 is never billed. An upstream outage closes the route with a 503 rather than serving a degraded response.

What this route does not do

Live query at the register: always current, but dependent on its availability. A register outage returns 503 and the call is not billed, never a degraded response. Sole proprietorships excluded: in Switzerland, a sole proprietorship (Einzelunternehmen), whose name carries the owner's name, returns 404, not billed; a branch is served only when its head office is (it is left out of the search); an undecided legal form is left out.

How you pay

Every route is paid per call, in USDC or EURC on the Base network, over the x402 protocol: no account to create, no API key, no subscription. The first call returns a 402 quote your client settles, then replays the call. A failed call is never billed.
