Profile of a Swiss company

Switzerland not being in the Union, its register has its own identifier — the CHE number — and its own cantonal publication logic. We query it live, which guarantees freshness but makes the call dependent on the register's availability.

What the route returns

Catalogue description, exactly as agents read it:

Official Swiss company registry lookup (Zefix — Central Business Name Index / Registre central du commerce), covering companies registered in Switzerland. Query: /v1/eu/entreprise/CH/CHE-107.480.920 (CHE UID number, with or without dots). Returns legal name, legal form, normalized status, registered office and the cantonal register link — Swiss company data live from Zefix. Same unified JSON schema as every Sirenic European company profile.

Expected identifier

CHE identifier, as CHE-123.456.789 or in continuous digits.

A wrongly formatted identifier returns 400 and is not billed — but it costs you a round trip. It is the leading cause of failed calls on the foreign routes.

Price and billing

Price: $0.01. The authoritative amount is the one in the 402 quote returned by the route itself — not this text, which derives from the same grid but is still just a page.

An error response cancels the payment: a 400, 404 or 503 is never billed. An upstream outage closes the route with a 503 rather than serving a degraded response.

What this route does not do

Live query at the register: always current, but dependent on its availability. A register outage returns 503 and the call is not billed — never a degraded response.

How you pay

Every route is paid per call, in USDC or EURC on the Base network, over the x402 protocol: no account to create, no API key, no subscription. The first call returns a 402 quote your client settles, then replays the call. A failed call is never billed.
