The Finnish identifier format is the most frequent cause of failure on this route: seven digits, a hyphen, a check digit. Passing the eight digits without the hyphen returns a 400 — not billed, but a wasted round trip.

Official Finnish company registry lookup (PRH / YTJ — Finnish Patent and Registration Office Business Information System, CC-BY). Query: /v1/eu/entreprise/FI/0112038-9 (Business ID / Y-tunnus). Returns legal name, legal form, normalized status, registered office and the FI VAT number — Finnish company data live from the PRH open data API, covering companies registered in Finland. Unified JSON schema shared by all Sirenic European company profiles.

A wrongly formatted identifier returns 400 and is not billed — but it costs you a round trip. It is the leading cause of failed calls on the foreign routes.

Price: $0.01. The authoritative amount is the one in the 402 quote returned by the route itself — not this text, which derives from the same grid but is still just a page.

An error response cancels the payment: a 400, 404 or 503 is never billed. An upstream outage closes the route with a 503 rather than serving a degraded response.

What this route does not do

Live query at the register: always current, but dependent on its availability. A register outage returns 503 and the call is not billed — never a degraded response.
