Members and shareholders of a Latvian company

The Latvian register publishes who holds the shares of every SIA and the registered shares of every AS — an open ownership register, rare in Europe. Sirenic serves the legal persons with their registration number (downward and upward group links) and counts natural persons with their holdings and dates, never naming them. Holdings are served as published, in lats before 2014; the share of nominal capital is computed only when every line of the company allows it. An AS with dematerialised shares publishes only its depository: the route says so, it does not invent shareholders.

What the route returns

Latvian company members and shareholders from the official Uzņēmumu reģistrs open data (CC0, daily): SIA members (parts) and AS registered shareholders with number of shares, nominal value and currency as published (LVL before 2014), votes, share of nominal capital and holding start date. Expected identifier

11-digit Latvian registration number.

A wrongly formatted identifier in the path returns 400 and is not billed — but it costs you a round trip. It is the leading cause of failed calls on the foreign routes. A search parameter, by contrast, is cleaned up: unsupported characters are stripped and the usable query is served.

Price and billing

Price: $0.02. The authoritative amount is the one in the 402 quote returned by the route itself — not this text, which derives from the same grid but is still just a page.

An error response cancels the payment: a 400, 404 or 503 is never billed. An upstream outage closes the route with a 503 rather than serving a degraded response.
