Public procurement of a Latvian company

The Iepirkumu uzraudzības birojs publishes Latvian public-procurement notices as open data every day (e-forms since 25 October 2023). This route finds a company by its registration number, as a winner (subject, buyer, contract, value, dates, status) and as a buyer (notices issued) — published facts, never a score.

Public-procurement record of a Latvian company from the IUB (Iepirkumu uzraudzības birojs) daily open-data notices (CC0, e-forms since 2023-10-25): contracts WON — buyer, subject, CPV, contract reference, value in EUR, conclusion and decision dates, contract status — and notices ISSUED as a buyer, newest first, with totals. Natural-person winners are never served. About 3% of Latvian winners are published without an identifier: zero is a non-conclusive absence. Facts, never a score.

Expected identifier

11-digit Latvian registration number.

A wrongly formatted identifier in the path returns 400 and is not billed — but it costs you a round trip. It is the leading cause of failed calls on the foreign routes. A search parameter, by contrast, is cleaned up: unsupported characters are stripped and the usable query is served.

Price and billing

Price: $0.02. The authoritative amount is the one in the 402 quote returned by the route itself — not this text, which derives from the same grid but is still just a page.

An error response cancels the payment: a 400, 404 or 503 is never billed. An upstream outage closes the route with a 503 rather than serving a degraded response.

What this route does not do

Partial coverage by construction: about 3% of Latvian winners are published without an identifier and the stock starts on 2023-10-25; zero never means “never won a contract”. Never a natural-person winner.
