# Annual accounts of a Romanian company

Every summer the Ministry of Finance publishes, under an open licence, twenty indicators per company and year — 5.1 million rows from 2019 to 2024. This route serves them by CUI, year by year, in RON and as published, with the filing format and the declared CAEN class.

## What the route returns

Catalogue description, exactly as agents read it:

**Romanian company annual accounts from the Ministry of Finance open data (data.gov.ro, CC BY 4.0, financial years 2019-2024), every published year in one call: balance sheet (fixed and current assets, inventories, receivables, cash, liabilities, provisions, equity, paid-up capital), income statement (net turnover, total income and expenses, gross and net result), average headcount, CAEN Rev. 2 class, filing format (abridged or full). RON as published; null = not published. Legal persons only.**

## Expected identifier

**CUI** (fiscal code), RO prefix accepted, e.g. 3474203.

> ⚠️ A wrongly formatted identifier in the **path** returns `400` and is **not billed** — but it costs you a round trip. It is the leading cause of failed calls on the foreign routes. A **search** parameter, by contrast, is cleaned up: unsupported characters are stripped and the usable query is served.

## Price and billing

Price: **$0.02**. The authoritative amount is the one in the `402` quote returned by the route itself — not this text, which derives from the same grid but is still just a page.

An error response **cancels the payment**: a `400`, `404` or `503` is never billed. An upstream outage closes the route with a `503` rather than serving a degraded response.

## What this route does not do

`null` = item not published, never zero; the files do not date the filing. Banks, insurers, NBFIs and NGOs file in separate files, not served: a company with no served year is not a company without accounts (404, no charge). The 2025 and “2024 updated” files carry no licence: not served.

## How you pay

Every route is paid **per call**, in USDC or EURC on the Base network, over the x402 protocol: no account to create, no API key, no subscription. The first call returns a `402` quote your client settles, then replays the call. A failed call is never billed.
