# Local units of a Norwegian company In Norway every establishment (underenhet) carries its own organisation number and points to its company — the exact counterpart of the French SIRET. The national bulk holds 863,600 of them, reloaded every morning. The route serves a company's units with their activity, their published headcount (the register says whether it recorded one: zero is a published nil headcount, null an unrecorded one), their addresses and dates, plus the unit count and cumulative headcount. A known company with no unit gets an explicit positive answer: the bulk is the complete national snapshot. ## What the route returns Catalogue description, exactly as agents read it: **Norwegian company local units (underenheter, the equivalent of SIRET establishments) from the official Enhetsregisteret (Brønnøysundregistrene, NLOD 2.0), refreshed daily from the national bulk: each unit's own 9-digit orgnr, name, industry code (NACE-NO) and auxiliary activity, published headcount, location and postal addresses, registration and ownership-change dates, VAT status, plus unit count and cumulative headcount. A known legal person with no unit gets an explicit positive answer.** ## Expected identifier 9-digit Norwegian organisation number of the company. > ⚠️ A wrongly formatted identifier in the **path** returns `400` and is **not billed** — but it costs you a round trip. It is the leading cause of failed calls on the foreign routes. The authoritative amount is the one in the `402` quote returned by the route itself — not this text, which derives from the same grid but is still just a page. An error response **cancels the payment**: a `400`, `404` or `503` is never billed.
