# An association's Official Journal notices

The JOAFE is to associations what the BODACC is to companies: the official trace of each life event. The answer dates every notice and says since when it has been watching — silence inside the window is a fact, silence outside it is not.

## What the route returns

Catalogue description, exactly as agents read it:

**Official Journal notices of a French association (JOAFE, DILA) by RNA number: creations, modifications (title, purpose, registered office), dissolutions, corrections — the association equivalent of BODACC notices, most recent first, with issue date, declaration date and prefecture, purpose themes and the PDF file name. Carries `couverture` (first and last loaded issue): no notice inside that window is a fact, not a gap. Weekly issue, loaded every Tuesday.**

## Expected identifier

RNA number: W followed by 9 characters (e.g. W011006690).

> ⚠️ A wrongly formatted identifier in the **path** returns `400` and is **not billed** — but it costs you a round trip. It is the leading cause of failed calls on the foreign routes. A **search** parameter, by contrast, is cleaned up: unsupported characters are stripped and the usable query is served.

## Price and billing

Price: **$0.01**. The authoritative amount is the one in the `402` quote returned by the route itself — not this text, which derives from the same grid but is still just a page.

An error response **cancels the payment**: a `400`, `404` or `503` is never billed. An upstream outage closes the route with a `503` rather than serving a degraded response.

## What this route does not do

Notices carry no SIREN and no personal names; unit PDFs are named, not reproduced. A JOAFE stock older than 14 days closes the route with `503`, unbilled.
