# An association's profile by RNA number

One association in two has no SIREN and exists in no company database. The RNA number is its legal identifier, and this route serves what the association declared — never its declarant, never its correspondence address.

## What the route returns

Catalogue description, exactly as agents read it:

**Official profile of a French association (loi 1901) by RNA number (W + 9), from the RNA register (Ministry of the Interior, monthly): title, purpose and Waldec codes, nature, grouping, position (active/dissolved/deleted), creation, declaration, JO publication and dissolution dates, registered office, website, RUP number as declared, prefecture, and the SIREN when Sirene confirms it (categorie juridique 92xx). Covers associations WITHOUT a SIREN. No officer data. Excludes Alsace-Moselle.**

## Expected identifier

RNA number: W followed by 9 characters (e.g. W751004076), or the legacy identifier of the import file, as published.

> ⚠️ A wrongly formatted identifier in the **path** returns `400` and is **not billed** — but it costs you a round trip. It is the leading cause of failed calls on the foreign routes. A **search** parameter, by contrast, is cleaned up: unsupported characters are stripped and the usable query is served.

## Price and billing

Price: **$0.005**. The authoritative amount is the one in the `402` quote returned by the route itself — not this text, which derives from the same grid but is still just a page.

An error response **cancels the payment**: a `400`, `404` or `503` is never billed. An upstream outage closes the route with a `503` rather than serving a degraded response.

## What this route does not do

The legacy file (no declaration since 2009) is served with `fraicheur.qualite = "inconnue"`: an “active” position there dates from the last known declaration. Alsace-Moselle (local law) is not in the RNA.
